Active Rehab is a specialized exercised based program designed to help improve or recover physical function after a traumatic injury, surgery, or health crisis.

 

Active Rehabilitation is a program designed to improve or recover an individual’s physical function after a traumatic injury, surgery or health crisis through specialized movement. Some examples of traumatic injury include motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, or work related accidents which may be a direct referral from WSBC, ICBC, therapists, doctors, or lawyers. Active rehabilitation may be administered by a Registered Kinesiologist. The main goal for active rehab is to get the patient back to full movement function in the shortest period of time while

Active Rehab – What you need to get started.

  1. A doctor’s referral (use form)
    If a clinician is referring, they are welcome and encouraged to contact the Kinesiologist directly for a history update and any further recommendations.
  2. Book an Initial Active Rehab Assessment with a Kinesiologist.
